HIPAA MATTERS

The Federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996, Public Law 104-191, was intended to simplify the administrative burdens of health care and to protect an individual’s health information. This class will provide an awareness to the HIPAA Privacy and Security rules and how it affects the workforce and also how it affects you on a personal level.
